suratpanditji.in is published by Pandit Ramkishan Joshi, a Vedic Acharya in Surat, Gujarat, India, trading as Surat Pandit Ji. On this page, "we" and "us" mean him, and "you" means anyone reading the site. By using the site you accept what follows. If some part of it does not sit right with you, the honest answer is not to use the site, and to call instead.
The site does two things. It describes the rituals Pandit Ji performs so you can decide whether to book one, and it publishes reference material on festivals, muhurat, vrat and devotional texts for anyone who wants it. Both are free to read. There is no account to create and no subscription to buy.
You cannot book or pay for a ceremony on this site. Every enquiry goes to Pandit Ji by phone, WhatsApp or email, and a booking exists only once he has confirmed it to you directly. Until that confirmation, nothing on this website, including a service page, a price mentioned in conversation or an available date shown anywhere, is a binding offer.
The terms of the ceremony itself, meaning the date and muhurat, what samagri is arranged by whom, the dakshina, travel to your location and any change of plan, are settled between you and Pandit Ji when you speak. Those conversations govern, not this page.
The muhurat timings, tithi dates, Choghadiya tables and remedial suggestions published here are calculated for Surat unless a page says otherwise, and panchang timings shift with location and with the tradition a family follows. Treat them as informed guidance for planning, and confirm the final timing with Pandit Ji before you fix anything that matters. Our full position on this is on the disclaimer page, and it is worth two minutes of your time before you rely on a date from this site.
The articles, service descriptions, photographs of Pandit Ji and the design of this site belong to Pandit Ramkishan Joshi and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to read them, print a page for your own puja, and share a link with anyone.
What we ask you not to do is copy articles onto another website, republish them under someone else's name, feed them into a scraper or a content mill, or use the site's photographs and name in a way that suggests Pandit Ji endorses or is connected to something he is not. If you want to quote a passage, quote it and link back, which is the normal courtesy and is always fine with us.
The devotional texts themselves, the chalisas, stotras and mantras, are the shared inheritance of tradition and belong to no one. Our transcriptions, transliterations and explanatory notes around them are our own work, and the request above applies to those.
Please do not try to break into the site, overload it with automated requests, scrape it in bulk, or use it to distribute anything unlawful. This is a small site run by one person, and there is no operations team to absorb that kind of attention.
Pages on this site carry advertisements served by Google. We do not choose the individual advertisements, we do not check the businesses behind them, and their appearance on a page is not a recommendation from Pandit Ji. What Google does with cookies on those pages is set out in the privacy policy.
Where we link out, mostly to our Google Business Profile and social pages, we have no control over what those sites publish or how they behave, and we are not responsible for them.
We write carefully, verify festival dates and panchang figures against reliable sources, and correct mistakes when they are pointed out. Even so, the material is offered as it stands, without a warranty that every detail is complete or current, and we do not promise the site will always be reachable. To the extent the law allows, Pandit Ramkishan Joshi is not liable for loss arising from your use of this website or from a decision you took on the strength of something published here, including a date or muhurat you did not confirm with him first. Responsibility for a ceremony he has actually accepted and performed is a separate matter, agreed with you at the time of booking, and nothing in this paragraph limits any right you have under Indian law that cannot be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Surat, Gujarat have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the website.
We may update this page as the site changes. The date at the top tells you when it last moved, and continuing to use the site after that means the updated terms apply.
